My photography is based in my immigrant experience. Since coming to Los Angeles from Germany, my work has focused on the
many different cultures and neighborhoods that make Los Angeles a microcosm of the region, the country and the world.
Wherever I go, whether it is the boardroom, somebody’s living room or the street, I strive
to capture some of the realities uniting or
dividing our communities.
I am passionate about the possibility that photography, with its unique ability to capture life a moment at a time, may help us value
and cherish each of our places in time and history. |
